🔒

Netvo collects nothing, stores nothing on its servers, and never transmits your data to anyone. There is no Netvo backend. Everything you enter stays on your device (iPhone or Android), or, if you choose, in your own private cloud container under your Apple ID or Google Account, which only you can access.

1. What We Collect

Nothing. Netvo has no user accounts, does not log in to your bank, does not run analytics, does not place ads, and does not transmit your financial data to any Netvo server. There is no Netvo backend that holds your information.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Data remains local in the app's sandbox on your device.

iOS: Optional iCloud Sync (on by default) writes a single data file to your private iCloud Drive container under your Apple ID, controlled by Apple, not Netvo.

Android: Optional Google Drive backup writes to your private Google Drive App Folder under your Google Account, controlled by Google, not Netvo. The App Folder is private to Netvo and not visible to other apps.

3. Backups

Netvo creates automatic daily backups (frequency configurable). They are owned by you and Netvo never reads, transmits, or stores them remotely.

iOS: Backups save locally to the device and mirror to iCloud Drive at iCloud Drive → Netvo → Backups. Files are visible in the Files app and deletable any time.

Android: Backups save locally to device storage and optionally to your Google Drive App Folder. Files are deletable any time from Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → Netvo → Delete app data.

4. Export / Import (CSV)

You may export your data as a CSV file (yearly summary or full backup). The file is generated on-device and saved wherever you choose: Files, iCloud Drive, email, AirDrop, and so on. You may also import a Full Backup CSV from your own device or another device you own. Imports are read on-device only, and nothing is uploaded. Netvo cannot access these files.

5. Currency Exchange Rates

Netvo fetches public exchange-rate data from a third-party CDN (fawazahmed0/currency-api via jsDelivr). These requests are anonymous, contain no user data, and only return public rate information. No personal or financial information is sent.

For users who track cryptocurrency, Netvo also fetches regularly updated public market prices from CoinPaprika. This is the same shape of request: anonymous, public, read-only, with no user identifiers.

6. App Version Update Check

iOS: Netvo queries Apple's public iTunes Lookup API to detect when a newer version is available, using only the app's bundle identifier.

Android: Netvo queries the Google Play In-App Update API to check for available updates, using only the app's package name.

Neither call sends user data.

7. Third Parties

We do not share your financial data with third parties because we do not have it to share. Beyond the public, anonymous APIs already described (exchange rates, crypto prices, version-update checks) and platform services (Apple on iOS, Google on Android, including their respective payment, biometric, and notification systems), the app uses two named SDKs:

There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no data brokers in the app on either platform.

8. Crash Reporting (Optional)

Netvo includes Sentry for crash reporting, on by default. You can turn it off any time in Settings → Data & Security → Help Improve Netvo.

When enabled, Sentry receives only:

Sentry never receives:

All financial fields are stripped on-device before upload. Sentry's privacy policy: sentry.io/privacy.

10. In-App Purchases

Netvo's core features are free. A Pro version is available as an optional upgrade, processed entirely by the platform store.

iOS: Apple handles all payments via StoreKit. Manage or cancel via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Netvo. Refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Android: Google handles all payments via Google Play Billing. Manage or cancel via Google Play → Account → Subscriptions → Netvo. Refunds via Google Play Help. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Netvo never sees, stores, or has access to your payment details, account credentials, billing information, or card data on either platform.

11. Biometric Data

Netvo's App Lock uses on-device biometric authentication. Netvo never reads, stores, or transmits biometric data; it receives only a pass/fail result from the OS.

iOS: Face ID or Touch ID, processed entirely in Apple's Secure Enclave.

Android: Fingerprint or face recognition via Android BiometricPrompt, processed by the OS.

12. Notifications & Widgets

Reminders are scheduled on-device using platform notification APIs (iOS: UNUserNotificationCenter, Android: AlarmManager). They are not sent from any server, and no network calls are made.

iOS widgets read your local data via a standard iOS App Group, with no network calls.

Android widgets (Glance / AppWidget) read your local data from on-device storage, with no network calls.

13. Children's Privacy

Netvo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you have a concern, contact us at [email protected].

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the app or in App Store / Google Play update notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
